Position Description

Partners with business liaisons to translate hardware and software requirements into technical specifications and partners with software developers, network engineers and IT Testing Analysts to develop logical technical processes and technical solutions for SAP systems and applications.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identifies, creates and facilitates technical and process design changes by conducting business and systems analysis and design at a complex level in SAP; focusing on quality improvement; system availability, security, data reliability; re-engineering processes and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes and partnering with business to ensure solutions provided meet long-term business strategies
  2. Creates technical specifications and processes using structured analysis and data and technology modeling techniques (e.g. activity diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams)
  3. Gather and define functional, usability, reliability, and performance requirements in partnership with users for the implementation and enhancement of software or hardware systems.
  4. Builds and leverages automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time
  5. Participates in system and user acceptance testing efforts
  6. Documents resolutions, test plans, recommended courses of action, and follow through on project requirements, designs and enhancements
  7. Identify long and short term opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall system health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency
  8. Builds standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for business liaisons, software developers and network engineering teams
  9. Leads business liaisons in the evaluation of cost-benefit and ROI analyses, and budget planning
  10. Understands system interdependencies and collaborate with project teams accordingly
  11. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, with both technical and non technical team members

  • Strong ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements

  • Strong ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products

  • Strong ability  to partner with technical analysts, network and software engineers and  quality analysts to identify course of resolutions within the SAP landscape

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills

  • 5 Years of experience writing system roadmaps, software requirement specifications and test specifications

  • 5 years of experience in any ETL tools and RDBMS including SQL server or Oracle

  • 3 years of experience in building Data lakes using cloud technologies like snowflake or anyother Cloud data storage.

  • 2 years of experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or higher

  • 2 years of experience in any Visualization tools preferably a cloud based tool like DOMO / Power BI / Tableau.

  • 2 years of experience in analyzing SAP Data & provide solutions in response to data related issues in our SAP systems

  • Experience performing functional data analyst role in SAP Data is preferred.

  • Experience in using SAP Data Services and Information steward in Data Governance methodologies is preferred


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum five years relevant experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in any ETL tool and any SQL programming.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Data warehouse and Data Lake.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or S4 Hana

  • Any experience in Data Lake and Data Mesh is preferred
