Supply Chain Applications Analyst

Position Description

Connects the business, the systems, and IT together by maintaining master data and configuring application solutions to ensure no touch supply chain solutions.  Evaluates the applications to ensure accurate data is supporting the supply chain process.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partners closely with internal teams and application developers to design and maintain a technically sound solution that meets the needs of the internal or external customers
  2. Supports day to day production applications, which includes diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving ERP system  application issues including interfaces to other programs and partners
  3. Maintains business responsible configuration settings and master data
  4. Creates or updates knowledge base documentation and training materials for End User Support
  5. Designs and executes systems test plans to ensure fail-safe integration of a program into a production environment
  6. Manages continuous improvement projects to ensure the application’s success.
  7. Follows change management standards and procedures and installs software upgrades
  8. Communicates project progress, issues and time reporting to the appropriate internal teams which may include Supply Chain leadership
  9. Creates reports for internal and external customers from the applicable software which may include identifying analytics as it relates to Supply Chain.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

  • Proper understanding of the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management skills
  • Possesses proficient knowledge of Supply Chain practices, principles and ethics
  • Strong understanding of ERP system configuration and business utilization
  • Strong understanding of supporting supply chain software and interfaces to the ERP system
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location


Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of related experience
  • Proven background in situational analysis and resolution of Supply Chain support and issues
  • One plus years full life-cycle ERP system implementation preferred

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Domestic and/or international travel as required up to 20%
