Position Description


This position supports our Research and Development Department by developing hybrid Mobile Applications using Flutter. Within this role the individual will perform a variety of moderately complex engineering duties to design, plan, and oversee the architect, design, development, and management application development.

Job Responsibilities


  1. Create custom user interfaces, consuming RESTful APIs, implementing reactive state management, and creating pipelines for automated application deployment.

  2. Develop solutions that integrate with company's proprietary platform and other 3rd party systems using native SDKs, web services, and other technologies.

  3. Deploy applications following the best CI/CD practice. 

  4. Maintain existing code base.

  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile development.

  6. Collaborate with a small team to plan projects and collaborate with cross-functional partners on all aspects of product development.

  7. Creates moderately complex software requirements, specifications and validation plans given system level definition of functional requirements.

  8. Acts as a liaison between other departments as necessary.

  9. Maintains software portfolio; - revision control, release, obsolescence and maintenance.

  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with Flutter, Dart, Android, and iOS, exceptional test-driven development patterns, up-to-date on mobile OS releases and features.

  • Solid comprehension of engineering best practices such as continuous integration

  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies, SOLID Design Principles, and knowledge of successful development workflows

  • In depth knowledge of multi-platform development

  • Ability to be subject matter expert in regards to Front end Application Development

  • Ability to work well with others as part of a diverse global team

  • Well developed communication skills to explain designs and logic used

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related field

Experience Requirements

Three years of professional engineering experience
