Senior SuccessFactors HRIS Analyst

Position Description

Develops, supports and maintains assigned HR systems and/or modules within the HR system of record. Prepares comprehensive analysis to generate data-driven insights to support HR and business decisions. Uses advanced technical knowledge of systems to research and make recommendations for new or modified systems, configuration changes and system optimization.  Designs and implements solutions to drive continuous improvement of HRIS environments. 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Combines HR functional knowledge with strong technical expertise of HR systems in order to drive process and system efficiencies/best practices, promote data integrity and ensure delivery of accurate reporting of data to the business.
  2. Develops, maintains, analyzes and supports reports of varying complexities utilizing appropriate reporting tools; define reporting needs, identify issues with existing audits and reports; create ad hoc queries and reports.
  3. Performs analysis into root cause of problems and implement solutions for HR systems; design, develop, test, document and maintain system setups and configurations. 
  4. Supports problem resolution, reporting, policy and procedure support; coordinates with all HR functions to ensure system and HR actions meet compliance needs; assess, develop, and deliver end user training for new users and ongoing training to ensure efficient utilization of HR system; assist with rollout and communication related to new systems and initiatives.
  5. Establishes, implements and maintains audit and testing procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of HR system data.
  6. Leads in evaluation of new software and hardware and new modules/updates of HR system; coordinate, maintain and enhance human resource systems in conjunction with user areas and information systems.
  7. Identifies process improvement/automation opportunities and participate and/or lead lean initiatives: develop, document and implement.
  8. Provides Guidance to other HRIS Analysts. May train, assign work to and monitor work of HRIS Analyst.
  9. Partners with HRIS and HR team to build and provide training.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Solid organizational, project management and analytical skills to support HR systems and projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions,  processes and database structure:  system setup, interdependencies and data flow to track down problems; in-depth understanding of HRIS
  • Solid technical problem solving capabilities with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users/customers
  • Strong communication, presentation and consultation skills
  • Solid computer skills with thorough technical aptitude and attention to details; proficiency in Microsoft Office; understanding of HR/payroll systems and processing and related interfaces
  • Solid knowledge of report writing applications to be able to develop and troubleshoot simple or complex reports
  • Ability to balance day-to-day tasks/projects/enhancement initiatives and embrace fast-paced organizational change
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience as a human resources analyst/administrator/technician
  • Three years web-based HR system experience required; knowledge of relational databases and queries; report writing applications∙
  • Project leader experience required
  • SuccessFactors experience preferred
