As a Senior Manager Accounting your goal is to manage complex accounting functions and the preparation of reports reflecting earnings and other financial results. You’ll formulate, administer and direct others to facilitate approved accounting practices and strong systems of internal controls throughout the organization to ensure financial statement accuracy. #LI-MD1 #LI-Hybrid
You will do this by:
- Overseeing and managing the preparation and presentation of monthly /quarterly and annual financial information for management and outside parties.
- Reviewing and approving significant accounting estimates and complex accounting transactions.
- Supporting changes to Company accounting policies for assigned areas. This includes ensuring controls are in place, general ledger accounts are reconciled on a periodic basis and overall data and system integrity as it relates to financial data in compliance with GAAP and Company accounting policies.
- Preparing and monitoring financial forecasts/ budgets and expenditures; coordinates variance data and allocations and performing cost estimating projects.
- Analyzing management reports and performance utilizing trend analyses and data analytics. Providing insights on performance and working with functional managers throughout the Company to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and recommendations for improvement.
- Managing the external financial statement audit.
- Driving continuous improvement throughout Finance in accounting activities; developing and recommending changes to Finance Leadership.
- Performing full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget. May manage other Accounting Managers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- At least six years of related accounting experience
- CPA license and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions
- Strong financial analysis skills at a leadership level
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to interface and communicate with diverse groups
- Ability to forecast and develop budgets
- Strong computer literacy, especially experience with financial software systems (SAP preferred)
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
