The Senior Industrial Deisgner develops aesthetic and functional improvements applied to advanced concept projects and new product development by applying skills in research, communication, 2d & 3d visualization and prototyping.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Passion for innovative and class leading design based on innovation, aesthetics, functionality, user experience, and manufacturability. 

  2. Dives deep into user focused empathy & experience

  3. Manages personal project load, timing, tasks, and deliverables

  4. Generates 2d images via digital methods and traditional drawing skills

  5. Creates digital 3d models

  6. Develops prototypes ranging from fast & effective to precise and finished 

  7. Communicates and presents to teams across the company 

  8. Self starter who can hustle and shift priorities when projects need the extra effort

  9. Pushes themselves to learn and explore new methods, processes, and design thinking

  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles and technology and equipment used to develop durable goods
  • Extensive knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in development of new product concepts
  • Must be able to enthusiastically assert ideas, be highly creative and able to “think outside the box”
  • Working knowledge of Adobe creative suite (Illustrator / Photoshop)
  • Thorough experience with computer aided design software and image rendering - Solidworks experience a plus
  • Understanding of prototyping techniques from rough to refined, from hands on to digital.
  • Experience with outdoor power equipment and power tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location


Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Industrial Design or related field
