Security Systems Analyst

Position Description

Administers and analyzes the physical security systems worldwide, including selection, design, coordination, installation, upgrade and conversion.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Coordinates the daily operational state of all global physical security systems, ensuring their effectiveness, functionality and minimizing operational downtime
  2. Defines physical security system standards, policies, required upgrades, maintenance, and daily management of all security systems through system integrators or internal resources
  3. Researches security products, performs feasibility studies, and handles overall vendor communication and management.
  4. Recommends system solutions to specific security concerns identified through security assessments
  5. Coordinates with IT to implement technology solutions in accordance with plan
  6. Creates, trains, audits and maintains all emergency response, crisis management and business continuity plans for the organization’s physical security systems
  7. Develops and provides technical support, training, and timely system data recovery to security system end-users   
  8. Identifies and mitigates threats and vulnerabilities associated with compromising physical security systems
  9. Coordinates the activities of the global access control systems contractors
  10. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of physical security systems, information technology principles, policies, standards and procedures
  • Ability to recognize, analyze and solve technical problems
  • Effective time management and organizing skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and priorities
  • Effective customer service skills with a strong ability to understand and apply corporate procedures, escalation, and prioritization
  • Effective  written and verbal communication skills to explain technical needs and problems
  • Effective project management skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with physical security systems and security software
