The Security Manager will direct domestic and international areas of the global security program by developing, implementing, and managing strategic physical security risk management services and capability, in partnership with the Senior Security Manager. The position will have primary responsibility for 15+ domestic and international locations.
You will do this by:
- Protecting people, assets, and information at your assigned locations
- Maintaining accountability of organization assets, facilities, and personnel safety
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards, training, methods, strategies, and programs to prevent or mitigate company losses due to theft, misuse, vandalism, assault, product tampering, espionage, sabotage, or financial loss
- Project managing the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems
- Acting as the SME in your field, identifying significant security risks while providing site support for implementing appropriate security controls to mitigate gaps or vulnerabilities
- Providing executive protection and special event service and support
- Directing the approach, deployment, and execution of investigations, and team-based development efforts and maintaining close relationships with high-level law enforcement, intelligence, and private sector counterparts (including in-country security and international security agencies)
- Briefing and advising senior leadership on the status of area security issues, also leading global security programs & projects
- Collaborating with leadership to align security strategies with overall business goals
- Fostering a culture of security awareness and vigilance throughout the organization
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, risk, and implementing corrective actions
- Developing and implementing incident/emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, theft, and workplace violence
- Conducting training sessions for employees on security awareness, emergency procedures, and best practices

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field OR equivalent education and experience
- At least 7 years of experience experience with major law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or private sector security organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience experience with major law enforcement, military, intelligence, public service or private sector security organization
- Related certification such as: CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), and/or PMP (Project Management Professional)
- International work experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and processes
- Experience with emerging security technologies, security design, collection and analysis of threat intelligence, and corporate site launches
- Expertise in crisis management, workplace incident management, and investigations
- Experience in leading large-scale security design and implementation projects and contract security management
- Experience in policy creation and maintenance
- Ability to provide executive level briefings
- Ability to operate within a budget
- Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft / Google Suite, as well as project management software
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
