Position Description

As the Sales Support Manager, your role will be to develop service training information, assist dealers with parts and service information, and keep portal products data updated. You will partner closely with both internal and external clients.

You will do this by:

  • Developing and oversees the delivery of training courses for dealers/customers on product safety, installation, sales techniques and marketing strategies.
  • Identifying  fast moving parts for all Products Group equipment to be incorporated into a split seasonal stocking program throughout the year for Power Distributors.
  • Overseeing Products Dealer Support content posted to Power Portal.  Works with Business Development and Service Marketing to ensure content is delivered.
  • Reviewing contract manufacturing agreements prior to implementation to ensure products service support needed is included.
  • Work with Power Distributors, tracks and maintains stock order results by dealer for Service and Engine orders to be reviewed with the sales and management team.
  • Conducting, compiling, tracking and reporting Field Warranty Audits on both Products and Engine Dealers.
  • Helping to identify misplaced parts in working with our Distribution Center on Bin Checks.
  • Working with Warranty Group to identify high volume warranty items. Working with the Service Planning and Purchasing teams to minimize the impact of these items with respect to pricing and/or vendor change/replacement.
  • Conducting competitive parts research and identifies sales trends as needed. Visiting dealers to monitor service support levels and suggest revisions to our processes as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of business experience in marketing, product sales or other relevant experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements

May require some travel of a scheduled or urgent nature.
