Position Description

Manages and expands the profitable sale of a broad range of company products through consultative selling to assigned customers. Develops and executes plans to gain new business that aligns to sales growth goals. Secures customer orders and effectively communicates, implements and executes all applicable company programs to customers.

Job Responsibilities

 

  1. Develops business partnerships with new and existing customers to support the Company’s growth goals.
  2. Manages accounts to meet strategic goals by making sales calls and developing business plans.
  3. Recruits new customers based on market potential and company strategy and objectives
  4. Reviews and analyzes sales and marketing data to promote sales. Determines customer needs and provide forecasting information; Communicates trends and opportunities and makes recommendations to Leadership
  5. Interfaces with assigned management and support personnel as necessary for consistent, open communication, customer support, implementation of company programs and achievement of company goals and objectives
  6. Controls and reduces selling costs through efficient customer ranking, routing, planning and expense control
  7. Promotes the sell-thru of customer commitments through advertising, planning and implementation of group ad campaigns and promoting individual customer advertising & sound merchandising practices.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  1. Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities
  2. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  3. Solid negotiating skills
  4. Solid computer skills including understanding of sales software systems, word processing and spreadsheets
  5. Must be able to work independently and possess solid organizational skills
  6. Must possess the desire to continuously improve through training
  7. Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience in a sales environment

Physical & Environmental Requirements
Domestic and/or International travel as required up to 25%
Valid Drivers License
