QA Manufacturing Support

Position Description

Supports quality processes and manufacturing operations through writing reports, providing data, and maintaining documents and records.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops and maintains a variety of procedures and instructions
  2. Develops and maintains the operation and part certification programs
  3. Performs a variety of studies including but not limited to R&R's, capability studies, and machine runoffs
  4. Performs duties relating to supplier quality including but not limited to inspecting incoming product and materials, processing and documentation of returns
  5. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to use hand tools, etc.
  • Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

Experience Requirements

  • Pass the QA Manufacturing Support test
  • Good organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Advanced computer skills preferred
  • Ability to give attention to detail
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis & analytical problem-solving
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.

Generally good working conditions.

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)

Job rotation may be required, where applicable
