Position Description

Manages development and implementation of marketing assets, web development, copywriting and content for the Turf and Consumer business group. Plans, budgets, coordinates and develops strategic marketing communication activities focused on increasing brand awareness and maintaining our brand integrity.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Partners with marketing leadership to create programs that support the marketing, advertising or sale of  the Turf and Consumer business unit
  2. Evaluates and executes on technologies, systems or programs that will elevate our digital presence via websites, partnerships, customer lifecycle management, email marketing and social media
  3. Manages the prioritization for the internal and external design and agency partners
  4. Plans, budgets, and provides creative direction for photo and video shoots
  5. Develops customer image programs
  6. Performs copywriting and editing services 
  7. Works with sales leadership to incorporate education and training materials in marketing programs
  8. Assists with the  development of labeling and branding issues
  9. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of marketing communications, graphic design, copywriting, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage several assignments simultaneously and to coordinate with multiple departments at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be resourceful and team focused, team focused, have strong problem solving skills, a strong initiative for efficiency and quality and be a proven self-starter able to work independently.
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
     

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years experience in marketing industry or related experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Moderate travel
