Our HR Shared Services Team is adding a new Manager HRIS. This role will be a true player / coach, overseeing the work of direct reports in addition to being tactical themselves. The position will have a strong focus in project work (including leading projects), and be heavily involved in HR system implementations. It's an opportunity to help our organization take our systems to the next level! The position will be based out of our corporate office in Wauwatosa with the opportunity to be remote two days per week.

Position Description

Manages, implements and maintains all HR systems, services and applications used to house or transport employee data for the Company. Leads project coordination and day-to-day management for the Company’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) team. Oversees vendor management to ensure system performance standards are met. Primary systems focus: SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian Dayforce, Kronos, and SAP Concur. 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Leads the HRIS team in managing day-to-day activities to support the business needs by partnering with HR Reps and other HR Subject Matter Experts (Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.)
  2. Builds and maintains positive relationships within the Company to ensure efficient and effective delivery of HRIS applications.
  3. Prioritizes data integrity through an audit strategy and routine data analysis. Ensures all HR-related systems or systems outside of HR maintaining employee data are compliant with data protection laws
  4. Promotes proactive approaches using HRIS to solve business issues, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of HRIS capabilities.   Regularly collaborates with different functional leaders to identify needed improvements and/or enhancements to existing systems; recommends and implements solutions.
  5.  Negotiates priorities, resources and requirements, based on business needs, with IT, Payroll, HR Reps and other stakeholders as appropriate.
  6. Oversees the development of documentation and maintenance of all departmental training, processes and procedures.
  7. Manages and maintains the integrity of the integrations between all systems.
  8. Leads large scale projects, including implementations, acquisitions, migrations, etc. Develops project scope, objectives and timeline to manage risk, meet deadlines and ensure successful execution.  
  9. Identifies new technology and stays abreast of technical trends to support a modern strategy for the HRIS roadmap.
  10. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Computer Science or related field OR equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum seven years progressive HRIS experience
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Minimum three years experience managing staff preferred
  • Experience managing vendors, to include RFP development, vendor selection and project management of implementation/transition
  • Implementation experience preferred
