Position Description:

As an Information Security Intern, working out of our corporate headquarters your goal will be to provide valuable support for our Information Security function. You will be exposed to and actively participate in projects, allowing you to broaden your skillset and gain hands-on experience. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to expand and enhance your foundational knowledge, complementing your academic studies. Throughout the internship, you will engage and interact with supervisors, team members, project leaders, and other business functions, fostering collaboration and communication skills. #LI-LB1 #LI-Onsite

  • Timeline: Summer 2026 - 12 weeks (late May - early to mid August)

  • Hours per week: 40 hours per week

  • Pay: dependent upon year in school

  • Location: onsite at our headquarters campus in Wauwatosa, WI (no relocation provided)

 

Projects may include: 

  • Collaborating with team members to enhance security controls, processes, runbook..

  • Engaging with internal employees to educate and assist them with security best practices.

  • Monitoring for potential threats, and suspicious activities.

  • Assisting in investigating and documenting security incidents.

  • Participating in vulnerability management processes.

  • Assisting with security awareness training programs.

Qualifications: 

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelors/Associates degree in specified function.
  • Must complete the sophomore year in the major program of study prior to beginning a co-op
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0
  • This is an entry-level position therefore previous experience is not required
  • Hands-on work experience in specified function is helpful
  • Candidates should have a long-term interest in the information security field.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess poise and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
