Position Description

Aligns human resources with business objectives in designated business units, locations and/or functional areas. Partners with  location and business unit management on human resources-related issues while acting as a champion for employees and a change agent.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Implements the  human resources strategy of assigned businesses and/or locations by helping identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
  2. Supports management in assigned locations and/or business units  in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with business strategy
  3. Ensures leadership and coaching culture is cascaded through the supported groups
  4. Drives the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
  5. Provides advice and coaching to leaders, managers and employees as appropriate
  6. Manages specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan as well as participating in functional and cross-functional initiatives
  7. May participate in development of HR long-range plan and annual operating plan
  8. Collaborates within Human Resources to develop, document and recommend continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions
  9. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of principles & practices of HR, including HR regulations and compliance
  • Experience in building business plan and/or HR strategy development
  • Skilled in employee relations with demonstrated ability to partner and influence at all levels in the business and to be viewed as a credible, valuable source of information and integral part of management team
  • Experience building and/or delivering change management and organizational development strategies
  • Strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and oversee project or team with multiple assignments and to meet set deadlines; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees
  • Solid computer skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location


Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum seven years related professional, progressive experience in human resources, manufacturing preferred, with a minimum three years management experience
