Position Description

Top human resources leader and strategic business partner for a global division. Oversees coordination and preparation of human resource analyses and provides management with information vital to the decision-making process.   Partners with the business, understands the employee base and is a change agent for the broader organization.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Provides strategic human resources leadership and support on matters affecting the business globally.
  2. Partners with divisional and company leadership to develop strategy, long range planning, and leads the division’s talent, leadership and culture processes for global groups/divisions and/or functional areas. Proactively recommends and implements mitigating actions to help achieve planned business results.
  3. Provides insights on talent and leadership performance in relation to strategies and goals. Leads human resources analyses to advise the business and identify opportunities to drive business improvements and ensures the appropriate information is included in business case analyses.
  4. Leads forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the global business strategy in partnership with the business
  5. Ensures leadership and coaching culture is cascaded through the supported groups
  6. Drives the people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
  7. Provide expert advice and coaching to leaders, managers and employees as appropriate
  8. Partners with other HR leaders to develop the global HR long-range plan and annual operating plan
  9. Leads specific projects within HR as well as participating in functional and cross-functional initiatives
  10. Collaborates within Human Resources team to develop, document and recommend continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions
  11. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget
  12. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of principles & practices of HR, including HR regulations and compliance
  • Experience in building business plans for global groups and HR strategy development
  • Skilled in employee relations with demonstrated ability to partner and influence at all levels in the business and to be viewed as a credible, valuable source of information and integral part of management team
  • Experience building and/or delivering change management and organizational development strategies
  • Strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and oversee project or team with multiple assignments and to meet set deadlines; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees
  • Solid computer skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

Minimum ten years related professional, progressive experience in human resources, manufacturing preferred, with a minimum five years management experience
