Position Description

Performs tests on engine electrical components. Calibrates equipment and records data.  Develops basic devices and circuits as required. Writes basic reports and communicates results.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Performs various electrical engineering tests
  2. Analyzes, interprets and communicates test results
  3. Fabricates and assembles prototype devices from drawings or concept sketches
  4. Develops new test set-ups and test methods
  5. Calibrates equipment
  6. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Ability to set-up, calibrate, and use basic electrical measurement devices
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits and devices
  • Ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair electrical prototypes
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience working with electrical and electronic systems, circuits, hand tools, soldering, wiring, assembly of electrical prototypes and recording data
