Position Description

Here is your opportunity to become part of the newly formed Electrification Team at Briggs & Stratton! This person will manage and expand the profitable sale of a broad range of electrification products through the OEM channel. Develops and executes plans to gain new business. Secures customer orders and manages exciting business. 

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops plans to meet overall goals for sales, market share and profit.
  2. Participates in strategic and long-term planning for department, branch, or division
  3. Leads development of sales methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
  4. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  5. Works with Sales Managers to analyze trends and potential within existing and new markets.
  6. Supports new customer development in assigned market and ensures excellent support for customers
  7. Interacts regularly with executives and/or major customers
  8. Directs the work of groups of employees (leads through managers)
  9. Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or related field
  • Minimum five years of people management experience
