Position Description

Reporting to the Vice President Finance of the business unit, this newly created role will have full responsibility for all financial analysis and reporting for the business unit.  The position will have high visibility to the executive team at both the corporate and business unit level.  The position will have full discretion to establish all FP&A processes and reports as seen fit.  

Job Responsibilities

  1. Own all month-end financial reporting and analysis, while providing proactive analysis and commentary on business performance
  2. Lead and coordinate monthly forecast process with the ability to create detailed income statement models to be used on a rolling 12 month basis
  3. Manage and coordinate the annual budgeting process and long range strategic plan process
  4. Prepares senior management and executive communications and presentations on financial performance
  5. Champion continuous working capital understanding and cash flow forecasting improvement within the operating company
  6. Work directly with the various business and functional leaders to educate and support them in developing their strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  7. Provides financial leadership, guidance, and analysis to finance and business partners to drive improved financial performance and meet the company’s goals and objectives
  8. Prepares ad-hoc analysis at request of leadership
  9. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • A strong track record of reporting and financial analysis, preferably in a high growth, private equity organization with FP&A experience involving acquisitions and/or sale processes
  • Experience in building scalable financial planning, analysis and reporting models and processes to facilitate company growth.
  • Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision framework, on a regular basis.
  • Required strong working knowledge of financial consolidation tools such as Hyperion and databases and reporting/analysis packages such as Power BI
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years relevant experience in FP&A roles with manufacturing experience required
  • Prior leadership and management experience in a large, complex global company strongly preferred
