Position Description

Take ownership of a brand within our biggest growth category, and have accountability for its continued growth and successThis role develops and implements complex and highly visible marketing projects across multiple business functions for the commercial turf segment with responsibilities that include advertising campaigns, social media, website content, and merchandising to improve brand engagement, preference, and sell-through. Have key inputs into the new product development process and long-range planning, which includes the voice of customer research, market share, and industry insights. 

Job Skills Requirements

  • Strong understanding of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing practices, digital marketing and customer online experience, durable goods and retail sales channels
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects independently; ability to take the lead and drive successful completion of projects
  • Ability to communicate (verbal, written) and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented
  • Ability to provide guidance to other team members
  • Strong initiative for efficiency and problem solving
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Job Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of communication strategies and executes across an integrated marketing communications plan
  • Writes, edits and proofs copy for marketing communications such as digital content, advertising, printed collateral, merchandising, customer presentations, and press releases
  • Develops and executes the budget, strategy, and shot list for photo and video shoots; editing skills a plus
  • Executes voice of customer research, being the industry expert for the category
  • Builds and nourishes relationships with key influencers
  • Evaluates channel marketing needs and makes recommendations to management
  • Partners directly with Marketing management to create programs that support the sale of company products
  • Develops, monitors, and communicates project timelines and budgets
  • Plans and helps execute trade shows and events
  • Performs competitive analysis and uses data to create marketing plans
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Marketing or related field

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Domestic and/or international travel as required up to 15%
