Account Manager - Bilingual

Position Description

Plans and manages sales activities of assigned accounts to meet sales objectives and to obtain targeted sales volume and profitability.  Builds working relationships with the key account stakeholders to manage day to day operations with a specific account. Acts as a two-way conduit to the account from the company and vice versa.

  • Bilingual in Spanish

Job Responsibilities

  1. Forecasts monthly and annual sales for assigned accounts
  2. Develops and maintains current product knowledge; maintains knowledge of market, new products or services, regulations, technical information, competition, warranties, product reliability and other general information of interest to the customer
  3. Grows existing account base through new customer acquisitions and selling existing accounts
  4. Investigates and reports competitor activities
  5. Communicates product changes, new product programs, samples, quotations, specifications and pricing changes in a timely manner
  6. Manages internal and external conflict and provides resolution for accounts and the organization
  7. Coordinates and communicates scheduling dates, backorder availability and shipping schedules with customers
  8. Investigates and develops new sales opportunities, customers, and markets
  9. Develops and implements special pricing programs and promotions
  10. Exercises extensive knowledge of product line and its application to customers
  11. Builds working relationships with the key stakeholders for each account
  12. Performs other duties as assigned

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of three years experience working in a sales environment or related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a must

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Moderate travel
