Position Description

As an Account Executive, your role will be to manage the sales life cycle for specific customers. Supports those groups of customers via interactive technologies. .  Grows existing customers and seeks new customer relationships to meet or exceed monthly sales goals within the assigned segment.

You will do this by:

  • Fulfilling the sales life cycle, from cold call to close; include scheduling and facilitating online product demonstrations and closing deals. Negotiating price with customer base within set guidelines.

  • Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start the sales process. Developing and contacting new customers and converting them into new business for the organization through phone sales, email, social media, and face to face sales activities.

  • Growing existing account base through new customer acquisitions and selling existing accounts.

  • Serving as an escalation point for day to day customer support and resolution.

  • Creating and maintaining daily quote and order activity generation.

  • Partnering with the outside sales force to increase sales in target markets. 

  • Acting as a liaison, coordinating with other departments and communicating with supply chain leads to track sales targets and shipments needs.

  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer database records by entering customer calls, results and other information

  • Developing and maintaining current product knowledge, market knowledge, new products or services, regulations, technical information, competition, warranties, product reliability and other general information of interest to the customer.  

  • Performing other duties as assigned

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements

  • Solid computer skills including understanding of sales software systems, word processing and spreadsheets

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and interact with diverse groups of people

  • Ability to meet deadlines and organize and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to collaborate professionally with peers and work toward a common goal

  • Selling techniques which include the ability to negotiate, motivate, and persuade

  • Solid business acumen

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience in a sales, sales support or a customer service environment

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Limited travel
