Position Description
As Senior Human Resources Generalist, your role will be to provide Human Resources support to one or more group(s) of managers or employees.
You will do this by:

Serving as the primary resource for managers and employees related to one or more functional HR areas; developing reports and analyses as required; recommending action within HR and/or to managers and employees; provideing proactive resolution of employee concerns and problems with the goal of future problem prevention.

Developing and delivers written communications and presentations to communicate concepts related to one or more functional HR areas for managers and employees; developing and conducting training and presentations.

Managing the recruitment efforts for managerial employees.

Coaching employees and managers in developing goals and objectives and providing coaching on performance management processes and may lead calibrations.

Working with managers and the Compensation team to ensure total compensation for the business is competitive in total compensation for the employee base. Identifying, facilitating, and resolving compensation and benefits issues quickly.

Developing documents and recommending continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures or programs to deliver innovative solutions to meet needs.

Supporting outsourced processes, such as, FMLA/LOA and Workers Compensation providing feedback when issues arise along with solutions.

Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Acting as a mentor or resource to other HR Generalists to include answering questions, coaching, and providing guidance on day-to-day activities.

Leading HR projects of varying size and scope that may be global and/or span across business units.

Performing other duties as assigned.

Some experience in development of principles and practices of human resources functions and/or a specific function within HR

Very strong organization and time management/project management skills necessary to prioritize and manage multiple, complex projects, potentially with conflicting priorities; ability to react quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment

Excellent communication skills to facilitate work with diverse groups of employees

Demonstrated skills in employee relations with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Some experience in leading HR Projects

Exhibits sound judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential situations and information

Proven ability to work independently and apply fact-based decision making

Strong computer skills

Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Experience Requirements
- Minimum five years related professional, progressive experience in human resources setting, manufacturing preferred
