Position Description


Monitors and maintains data quality through various outlets. Creates and executes corrective actions when necessary to support data integrity.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Owns, maintains, consults and executes on the master data domain. Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality specific to the business unit(s).  Work collaboratively and report progress to their respective Data Owner

  2. Works in Enterprise systems to prepare and approve master data workflows

  3. Acts as master data subject matter expert; researches and resolves master data issues globally. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality through error detection, correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies

  4. Leads cross-functional teams to gather required information and executes business master data needs. Enforces established data standards and guidelines

  5. Prepares master data load files and/or manually inputs the changes directly into the Enterprise systems

  6. Follows and supports the governance of new products going into the system that do not meet the set business requirements

  7. Develops standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues Maintains business ready data in the Enterprise systems and complies with service level agreements as defined in the team workflow

  8. Monitors recurring exception reports and initiates data clean-up opportunities

  9. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise master data and how it applies to business

  • Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities

  • Strong reporting and analysis skills using spreadsheets and formulas

  • Knowledge of Mass Maintenance tool set-up and usage

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
  • Three years of experience with enterprise system master data
  • Experience with master data creation, cleansing and following governance processes
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Domestic and/or international travel as required up to 10%
