Machine Operator II

Position Description

Performs complex set ups utilizing a variety of manufacturing equipment to produce components to meet engineered specifications.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Follows standard work procedures to manufacture parts requiring close tolerance.
  2. Performs complex program call-ups on a variety of manufacturing equipment.
  3. Reads and interprets blueprints and job orders.
  4. Completes all work to required print specifications.
  5. Evaluates and inspects finished products for accuracy.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing and math skills. Demonstrated ability to read blue prints.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of related experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Generally good working conditions.
Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
