Inventory Control Analyst

Position Description

Supports inventory controls by analyzing material requirements and inventory control systems. Implements and maintains value added manufacturing information systems designed to support advancements in materials and production management. Coordinates material replenishments to meet demand schedules for assigned areas.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Monitors material usage to set safety stocks on assigned materials.
  2. Monitors inventory turns and levels in an effort to manage excess and obsolete inventory.
  3. Coordinates transfer of materials to fulfill interplant and service requirements on schedule.
  4. Manages a formal cycle counting program for the plant.
  5. Investigates and identifies root cause of inventory discrepancies and recommends corrective action.
  6. Supports all departments with creating reports that provide information for better decision making.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • High skill level with data analysis in Excel, database management and materials requirement planning systems
  • Detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across functional areas and organizational lines
  • Self-directed with the ability to make timely and effective decisions
  • Team player
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

Minimum three years of experience preferably in materials/logistic management or related
