Position Description
Your role as Regional Sales Manager for Ferris Commercial Mowers will be to direct, plan and coordinate a field sales force to meet company sales and profit goals. You will follow established sales processes while coaching field sales force to ensure future distribution growth by working and traveling with assigned staff.
You will do this by:

Directing, planning and coordinating the activities of assigned sales force to attain sales and profit goals; travels with sales force on a regular basis

Continually coaching field sales force to improve understanding of sales process

Recommending sales forecast and regional budgets; Managing budgets and expenses of sales force
-
Communicating and implementing all programs with field sales force
-
Reviewing sales progress and developing corrective action when necessary

Communicating with management to review sales performance and new customer expansion
-
Interfacing with company support personnel as necessary to foster consistent, open communication, customer support, implementation of company programs and achievement of sales goals and objectives

Organizing and conducting productive sales meetings with set agenda

Performing full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

Performing other duties as assigned

Ability to analyze sales trends, using BI tools.

Ability to identify and maximize sales opportunities

Advanced knowledge of sales procedures

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people

Track record of successfully leading and coaching a successful sales team

Solid computer skills including understanding of sales software systems, word processing and spreadsheet programs

Must be able to work independently and possess solid organizational skills

Able to safely load, secure and operate a variety of company trailers on a regular basis

Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of highly successful sales management experience
