We specialize in the design and manufacture of machines in three product groups: Debris Management (vacuums, blowers, and debris loaders), Lawn Renovation, and Brush Cutters. We have an immediate opening for a Supervisor Service Parts & Logistics to support our growing business .

Position Description

Oversees and coordinates daily aftermarket service parts and accessories warehousing activities as well as wholegoods shipping and logistics. Implements production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieves the appropriate level of volume within established time limits. Ensures that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increases the company’s overall market share. Oversees the Logistics contracts for the Lee’s Summit operations.  Manages a small team of 10 working at two locations in what are both considered small warehouses

Job Responsibilities

  1. Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
  2. Measures and reports the effectiveness of warehousing activities.
  3. Ensures shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
  4. Interfaces with internal team members to answer questions or solve problems.
  5. Identifies areas of improvement and establishes new innovation as well as audit and adjust existing work procedures and practices for increased efficiency.
  6. Coordinates work flow and best practices with other departments.
  7. Recommends and enforces warehouse safety requirements.
  8. Manage, coordinate, oversee and monitor projects within the warehouse and production teams.
  9. Provide leadership and mentorship to the Warehouse staff members. 
  10. Performs managerial responsibilities including: planning, assigning and directing work; interviewing, hiring and coaching employees; and managing performance.
  11. Back-up to Service Parts and Wholegoods shipping leads.
  12. Inventory research of any issues and inaccuracies.
  13. Assist in the RMA/return process including quality inspections of returned parts.
  14. Interfaces with Customer Service team to ensure a fill rate of at least 95% while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques, with the ability to direct and coordinate operations. 
  • Familiar with shipping / receiving processes.  Comfortable working in on-line shipping systems and within ERP or inventory systems.  Possess the ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

High School diploma
General Education Degree

Experience Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Three years warehouse or related experience
  • Transportation management experience a plus
