We specialize in designing and manufacturing machines in three product groups: Debris Management (vacuums, blowers, and debris loaders), Lawn Renovation, and Brush Cutters. We are seeking a spirited marketer who is delighted to work with diverse marketing tactics and can fill the role of Marketing Manager to support our growing business.

 

In this role, you will develop and implement marketing programs for specified distribution channels for multiple business functions for a particular business segment. Your responsibilities include trade shows, social media, and website content to improve brand engagement, preference, and sell-through.

Position Description

As a Marketing Manager for Billy Goat, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing programs for specified channels of distribution for our Billy Goat brand of products. You will plan, budget, coordinate and develop marketing programs that support the sale of all company products sold through the assigned distribution channels.

You will do this by:

  • Partnering with Marketing Leadership to create programs that support the sale of Billy Goat products.

  • Oversee marketing for our niche business line using multiple tactics including trade shows, social media, and other digital and printed collateral.

  • Evaluating channel marketing needs and making recommendations to leadership for strategic planning.

  • Helping others to develop and launch new products and new product lines.

  • Assisting with achieving annual sell-thru objectives for assigned channel of distribution.

  • Working with sales leadership to incorporate education and training materials in marketing programs.

  • Maintaining and updating market intelligence databases on pricing, market shares, volumes, and competitors.

  • Assisting with the development of labeling and branding issues.

  • Performing a full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

  • Performing other duties as assigned

You are the type of person who is/has:

  • Seven years of Marketing experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business marketing practices.

  • Experience with Google Analytics or other social analytics tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to successfully manage several assignments simultaneously and to coordinate with multiple departments at all levels of the organization.

  • Must be resourceful and team focused, team focused, have strong problem solving skills, a strong initiative for efficiency and quality and be a proven self-starter able to work independently.

  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years experience in marketing industry or related experience

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Moderate travel
