We specialize in the design and manufacture of machines in three product groups: Debris Management (vacuums, blowers, and debris loaders), Lawn Renovation, and Brush Cutters. We have an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to help support our growing business .

Position Description

Supports assigned business unit through performance of accounting functions such as month-end closing, reporting, analysis of operations and other financial analysis process-related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Performs month-end closing which includes analyzing general ledger account data for accuracy and adjusting accounts if necessary; booking various journal entries and statistical key figures.
  2. Prepares reports daily, weekly and monthly which may include but not be limited to sales, inventory, production, raw material purchasing and cost of quality.
  3. Reviews variance account posting for accuracy throughout the month, assists with correcting system transactions. Reviews detail of accounts and follows-up on month-end closing items when necessary. Reviews account reconciliations on a monthly basis and maintains a log of sign-offs for Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
  4. Reviews and approves transactions for billing process and generates 3rd party invoicing
  5. Processes Debit/Credit memos in relation to rebates, warranty claims processing, etc.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Analytical skills necessary to review/analyze accounting and financial data, substantiate financial statement balances and prepare financial statement account reconciliation
  • Ability to identify, measure, evaluate & improve, if necessary, the effectiveness of accounting, financial, managerial and operational controls
  • Good verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of people in a team environment
  • Well-developed customer service skills with the ability to interface with all levels
  • Advanced computer skills including advanced knowledge of and experience working with spreadsheet software including Google Suites
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects with a strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of one year of experience providing \accounting support in a manufacturing organization
