As a Manager Regional Sales your goal is to lead, plan, and coordinate a high-performing field sales organization to achieve Ferris commercial goals for revenue, profit, and dealer network growth. You’ll serve as a key sales leader responsible for coaching, developing, and empowering a team of Territory Sales Managers to deliver best-in-class dealer support, expand the dealer base, and execute the Ferris commercial strategy in alignment with company objectives. #LI-MD1 #LI-Remote
Additionally, you’ll implement established sales processes while fostering a performance-driven culture focused on results, customer relationships, and continuous improvement.
The territory for this opening includes: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York and Canada.
You will do this by:
- Leading, planning, and directing a team of 6–8 Territory Sales Managers to attain regional sales, profit, and new dealer acquisition goals
- Partnering with the VP of Sales to establish regional targets aligned to Ferris’ overall commercial strategy and growth initiatives
- Recommending and contributing to the development of Sales Incentive Plans (SIPs) and other motivational programs to drive performance toward key objectives
- Developing and executing tactical sales plans to deliver revenue and profit goals while expanding Ferris’ dealer network in priority markets
- Providing continuous coaching, mentorship, and accountability to Territory Sales Managers through regular field travel, joint dealer visits, and performance reviews
- Building strong, trusted relationships with key dealers, distributors, and partners to strengthen loyalty and uncover growth opportunities
- Analyzing and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue attainment, profitability, dealer count growth, shipment trends, market share, and product mix; builds strategies to improve performance where needed
- Reviewing sales progress and implementing corrective actions or programs as required to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Demand Planning, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure regional execution aligns with Ferris’ commercial prioritie
- Communicating and implementing all company programs, pricing initiatives, promotions, and dealer incentives with the sales team and dealer network
- Representing the Ferris brand at industry events, dealer meetings, and trade shows to promote products, gathering market insights, and strengthen dealer engagement
- Organizing and leading productive regional and team sales meetings with clear objectives, metrics, and actionable outcomes.
- Performing a full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget

An effective Regional Sales Manager at Ferris:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of seven years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within the outdoor power equipment, turf, or related durable goods industries
- Experience leading regional or multi-state sales teams preferred
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams, remote preferred
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue, profit, and new customer/dealer acquisition goals
- Ability to analyze sales trends and turn data into actionable growth strategies
- Strong knowledge of the outdoor power equipment (OPE) industry, dealer distribution models, and competitive landscape
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Gmail) and CRM/sales reporting tools
- Strong business acumen with experience in forecasting, goal-setting, and performance management
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Domestic and international travel as required, up to 60%
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Compensation:

For this position in the state of New York ONLY, the expected base annual salary range is $90,000 to $135,000 USD commensurate with experience. The position also includes an incentive compensation package. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
