Technician II

Calibrates, sets-up and uses measurement and test equipment.  Measures and records data for assigned projects.  Writes reports and communicates results.

1. Performs a variety of routine assignments of moderate complexity, including corrosion test, paint qualification and color matching, plastic color and specialized measurement devices and test equipment 
2. Fabricates master coupons for paint and plastic
3. Measures and documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results and conclusions
4. Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; may analyze test and design data and prepare reports 
5. Makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
6. Performs other duties as assigned 

• Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment 
• Demonstrated ability to learn complex specialized measurement devices and test equipment
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to create technical documents 
• Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location 

Three years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
