Position Description

Forms and leads cross-functional teams to manage a variety of manufacturing, engineering and/or cost reduction projects.  Develops and manages timelines, schedules and budgets.  Communicates project status with stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manages cross functional teams to implement a variety of new product offerings, product changes, and cost reduction programs
  2. Evaluates current processes and systems for cost reductions and process improvements; develops and implements solutions
  3. Develops and monitors capital and expense budgets
  4. Develops and monitors project schedules
  5. Communicates with internal and external customers regarding project status
  6. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and engineering principles
  • Ability to prepare and present technical information
  • Strong understanding of Economic Value Add and Return On Investment concepts
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

Five years of project management related experience
