Position Description

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will manage a team of recruiters and direct the professional and managerial recruiting activities of the Company, including process, tools, and metrics to drive continuous improvement. Using your consultative approach and relationship-building skills, you will partner with the business and HR to understand internal talent and proactively source the employee of choice for current and future business needs. You will also own the Company's Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and will partner across the organization to ensure that our brand is being maximized to attract and retain talent. You will also handle Director/VP-level searches, including managing executive search firms and other recruiting vendors.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops and implements high quality recruiting short and long term plans, including the following processes: sourcing, interviewing, selection and onboarding. Partners with HR and managers to integrate with the entire talent management process.
  2. Develops and maintains the Company’s employment brand. Ensures all materials are in alignment with each brand.
  3. Develops metrics and analyzes data on all facets of the hiring process, including but not limited to: cost-per-hire, fill time, recruiting source effectiveness; holds others accountable for meeting desired metrics
  4. Monitors and manages performance against the reporting and outreach requirements for Affirmative Action
  5. Negotiates, manages, and maintains third party relationships to support business requirements
  6. Educate and coach managers, employees, and job applicants on staffing procedures and provides guidance and direction related to all staffing processes and programs
  7. Identifies targeted needs and responds appropriately with recruiting strategies for niche markets, including technical and executive-level needs
  8. Set the strategy to determine how we want to partner with third parties, to leverage our tools, resources, and products to support business needs
  9. Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; EEO/AA; performance management; department budget
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Proven ability to create, communicate, and execute the recruiting strategy to proactively build a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Professional competence in HR including management practices and policies, employment law, staffing, negotiating all types of compensation and EEO/AAP
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal and external sourcing options through benchmarking, best business practice sharing and industry networking
  • Track record of success developing a strong centralized recruiting function
  • Strong planning, project management and execution skills
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of management
  • Ability to create and convey future vision for talent acquisition functions and translate that value proposition to business stakeholders
  • Well developed communication skills
  • Ability to influence change
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum seven years of recruiting experience in a corporate or agency setting
  • Minimum of three years management experience preferred
