Position Description

Manages the planning software platform and information delivery for assigned areas. Designs, develops and implements advanced metrics, dashboards, reporting and business analysis solutions. Serves as a key contributor in addressing process automation challenges and improving efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Leads demand, supply and inventory reporting and analysis for assigned areas
  2. Enhance business user experience through continuous process improvement initiatives
  3. Manages all aspects of information delivery consisting of reporting infrastructures, data modeling, and queries for assigned areas
  4. Administers supply chain and integrated business planning software  systems
  5. Supports the development and delivery of department performance metrics to monitor the business
  6. Researches new technologies and evaluates potential opportunities regarding advanced reporting and business analytical solutions
  7. Ensures accuracy and data integrity of proper processes, updated business purpose documentation, report structures and data sources
  8. Collaborates with other departments regarding demand planning and forecasting software needs and capabilities
  9. Evaluates and proposes systems designs and participates in peer reviews to further support the data information needs of the division
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Working knowledge of programming techniques and analysis software Working knowledge of process flow mapping and software
  • Fundamental understanding of Data Warehouse practices including dimensional modeling and data profiling
  • Must be able to understand disparate data sources and relational database constructs to convert data into actionable information
  • Working knowledge of the system development life cycle process, including requirements definition, prototyping, testing and implementation
  • Proficiency working with office productivity products
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities and recognize priorities
  • Ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location


Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one year professional experience using analysis software, data analysis, or statistical techniques
  • Exposure to SQL, Oracle and other relational database structures
  • Working knowledge of sales administration systems preferred
  • Experience in the Logility planning system preferred 
  • Experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) preferred
