Business Analyst - SAP Logistics and Transportation

Position Description

Works with the user community to review, analyze and define business requirements.  Documents requirements, designs, configures, and implements capabilities to support business initiatives for SAP processes and application(s).

Job Responsibilities

  1. Translates end user business requirements to design, configure, document, and test SAP application solutions across multiple functional groups
  2. Understands best practice business processes to ensure compliance with internal processes
  3. Provides risk analysis to business partners for proposed solutions
  4. Provides problem solving and decision making to resolve SAP systems issues
  5. Supports concurrent work assignments across applications and diverse user groups
  6. Documents requirements, configuration and system support materials including process workflows, functional, technical specifications and training materials
  7. Maintains and develops internal business relationships to influence successful project outcomes
  8. Supports the software lifecycle of SAP enterprise software applications such as implementation, configuration, post go live support, and training
  9. Provides internal support for evaluation of proposed functionality in existing and proposed applications
  10. Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills to identify and propose technical and non-technical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and support new software applications, particularly SAP-based applications
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in products
  • Strong ability to define solutions and resolve issues
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location.
  • Technical subject matter expert with supply chain processes for warehousing, distribution and transportation - Completion of 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations of SAP Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management
  • Forms and Label design experience within SAP Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse management.
  • SAP Transportation Management - Demonstrate analytical skills in SAP Supply Chain applications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in requirements management
  • Experience with small to medium scale project and program management
  • Experience determining and delivering against business requirements
  • Experience with SAP ERP ECC 6.0 or higher required
  • Experience with S/4 HANA Simple Finance (for EWM roles - EWM 9.4) preferred
